Information on how to participate in our joint Farnsworth and Rigby Middle School Musical Production!
Dear Parents and Students,
The R3 Community Theatre Program will be presenting a joint Farnsworth and Rigby Middle School Production of Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.
Fees: $50 (Please register online) will include a play shirt, script & recording of the show. The fee is nonrefundable. Singing Auditions: You will need to email a recording to auditions@r3ct.org of your student singing a song from any Disney or Broadway musical (not Alice in Wonderland Jr). Please sing with a karaoke track or accompanist (no a cappella please). Singing Auditions are due September 16th at 8:30 pm. Please include in the video your Name, School, and Grade. In the subject of the email please include your first and last name. (If your student would prefer to only be considered for ensemble roles they do not need to record a singing audition).
Dance Auditions: Sept 17th 4:00 pm at RMS. Come ready to learn a dance number. All cast members need to attend dance auditions. (FMS Students can ride the buses over to RMS after school).
Call Backs: Sept 19th – 4:00 pm at RMS. The callback list will be posted on Band on September 18th or the morning of the 19th. Please make sure to register for our Band group when filling out the audition registration form. At callbacks students will be given scenes and a partner to do some cold readings. They may be asked to do additional singing to check vocal ranges. Our goal is to end before 6pm, but it may run longer.
Rehearsals: Monday- Thursday starting Sept 23rd 3:50 until 5:30 (unless noted on the schedule) A complete schedule will be given the first day of practice. All cast members will be required to be at all scheduled rehearsals! (Unless prearranged with the director) Fridays and Saturdays may be added if needed.
Crew: Opening meeting will be Sept 14th RMS 4:00 – 4:30. Please register online.
Tech Crew: Light and Sound tech can also help set building
Stage Crew: Curtains, stage setting & set building, Props
Tech Rehearsals: November 11th – 15th
Dress rehearsal: November 16th & 18th
Show: November 19th – 22nd at 7:00 PM
We will NEED Parent volunteers to help with costumes, publicity, dress rehearsal, cast party and staffing the front doors the day of the performance. Please let us know how you are willing to help.
