About R3 Community Theatre
R3 (pronounced “r cubed”) Commuity Theatre is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for local residents of all ages to perform in theatre and musical arts. R3 produces a combined Middle School Musical, a Summer Theatre Camp, and one Community Summer Musical production every year. R3 also supports Rigby High School’s theatre program.
What does R3 Stand For?
When David Crasper was originally looking for after-school opportunities for youth, he created Rigby Recreational Routes that included activities from scouts to theatre. Eventually he could only focus on one and theatre was the most popular. When the Rigby Community Theatre Board was assembled, they chose to keep the name “R Cubed” because of their support for Rigby Middle School, Rigby High School, and Rigby Community Theatre.
